As part of its ongoing commitment to stringent online safety, The TALL Group of Companies, the UK leader in the provision of secure paper and electronic payment solutions, has once again secured the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus standards.

The TALL Group is a UK leader in the provision of security print, secure payment and online solutions for the UK’s major banks, blue-chip companies, retailers, SME’s and print management companies.  Working in partnership with The Cyber Essentials scheme, The TALL Group demonstrated the essential security controls that they have in place to protect its technology and data across its three sites.

According to the ‘Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2021’ 38% of small businesses suffered a cyber breach or attack in the past 12 months, with the average cost for those that lost data or assets standing at £8,170.
The Government worked with the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises (IASME) consortium and the Information Security Forum (ISF) to develop Cyber Essentials, a set of basic technical controls to help organisations protect themselves against common online security threats.

Wayne Carlisle, IT Director for The TALL Group of Companies commented: “I’d like to express a huge thank you to all of the IT staff across the group for the effort they have put in throughout the year to enable us to pass our annual CE & CE+ audits.”
