Specialist property consultants Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has facilitated a deal involving a warehouse and office unit at Colorado Way, located in Glasshoughton, West Yorkshire.

Working on behalf of CRT Property Investments Ltd, CPP has secured a letting which sees an accident repair company become the latest tenants, taking over from previous occupant, Sigma.

Following competing demand from several occupiers, a new lease has been agreed at Alpine Court, which confirms the current strength in the Yorkshire industrial market.

The unit comprises a modern detached warehouse facility and yard, as well as a two-storey office block linking into the warehouse. There are also 13 car parking spaces to the front of the building, with a further 15 spaces to the rear.

Situated within the Blue Ridge Park industrial estate, the property fronts onto both Colorado Way (A639) and Thunderhead Ridge, benefitting from its proximity to Junction 32 of the M62 motorway.

Nearby occupiers include mechanical and engineering company Oak Electrical Ltd, along with G3 Vehicle Auctions, amongst others.

Ed Norris, Director at CPP said: “We are thrilled to conclude on this transaction for our client, securing a great rental level. This deal is reflective of the current industrial market which continues to go from strength to strength in Yorkshire.”

Shaun O’Brien of CRT commented: “This is a prime example of the type of business that can develop and grow at Colorado Way which offers modern facilities and flexibility to match tailored business requirements in a prime and prestigious location.”

CPP and Avison Young acted as joint agents on the instruction.
