North Wales-based job advertising specialists have recently hired two new team members and is recruiting for three additional internal roles as the company continues to thrive, despite the pandemic.

JVP Group, based in St Asaph, recently welcomed Tom Norris and Eleanor Billington to the team, following the business’s busiest period of trading in Q1 of 2021.

Despite the Office for National Statistics (ONS) recently stating that the jobs market “remains subdued”, the first quarter of 2021 saw a 65% increase in the number of jobs advertised by JVP Group for employers across the UK, in comparison to the previous quarter.

Tom, an experienced journalist, who has joined JVP’s marketing team, said: “At a time when many businesses are unfortunately having to reduce the number of staff on their payroll, JVP is bucking the trend.

“It’s definitely an exciting time to be joining the team, the business is continuing to grow and take on plenty of new clients, even throughout the pandemic which is such a positive sign for the future.”

The company is currently welcoming applications from graduates and from experienced customer service professionals for busy and varied marketing and client-facing roles. The business also has an entry-level opportunity available through the Kickstart Scheme.

JVP Group’s Founder and MD Cath Harrison said: “As we continue to grow, our focus is on investing in local talent including those who come with experience, but also graduates and those looking to take their first step on the career ladder.

“It’s heart-breaking to see the cuts in graduate schemes and entry level roles that businesses have needed to make due to the pandemic, and we’re passionate about taking on the best and brightest that North Wales has to offer, many of whom are currently being left by the wayside.

“Whilst we have been disrupting the UK recruitment market since JVP Group was launched seven years ago, our unique offering has really come into its own now that the pandemic has forced employers to review recruitment methods and spend, and seek more efficient and cost-effective ways of attracting talent. I’m more excited than ever about what the future has in store for JVP Group and our ambitious and talented team.”
