The Lakes Gin has been recognised for as excellent with a Gold Award at the World Gin Awards 2019. It was the only classic gin in the UK Category to receive the Gold Award.
The Lakes Gin, which is listed with major retailers and specialist retailers across the country and all UK World Duty Free stores in UK airports, was presented with a Gold Medal in the UK Produced, Classic Gin category at a ceremony held at The Caledonian Club in London.
The award-winning The Lakes Gin is a classic gin with vibrant notes of juniper, orange peel and lemon citrus.
The botanicals are steeped overnight in the finest English wheat spirit, along with pure Cumbrian water, sourced from the River Derwent.
The World Gin Awards are the global awards selecting the very best in all internationally recognised styles of gin. The World Gin Awards select, reward and promote the world’s best gins across the globe.
Each gin is tasted in its relevant style to identify and select the style winners. Judges making up the World Gin Awards panel include international leading journalists, specialist drinks retailers and industry experts.
