Onvi announces its Onvi Serve app is now available for iPhone

Onvi, the modern POS system for independent, ambitious hospitality operators, announces its Onvi Serve app is now available for iPhone.

The launch of Onvi Serve for Mobile means Onvi users benefit from all the functionality of its POS system but can access and use it on their smartphones too, effectively creating a powerful pocket POS solution.

With Onvi Serve for Mobile, even the smallest hospitality businesses now have access to a premium POS solution straight from their phone, so busy operators can stay connected with their business, wherever, whenever. Operators can manage cash, card and mobile payments quickly and easily, with the till and order management features perfectly optimised for mobile.

Gavin Peters, Chief Strategy Officer for Onvi, said: “We’re proud to do things differently. Through conversations with hospitality operators, we uncovered a gap in the market for a genuine mobile-first full-service POS which meets the needs of innovative, independent operators.

“Operators on mobile will have access to all the features available in the full POS system. This means they can manage their online ordering, Uber Eats orders, vouchers & promotions and get deep sales analytics even when taking orders straight from an iPhone.

“Our incredible team of engineers have worked so hard to ensure Onvi operates at the highest levels of reliability, stability, and security levels reflected in our service uptime of 99.95%. Crucially for our clients, it means they don’t miss out on transactions, which is a huge problem for many Epos providers.”

Onvi Serve for Mobile can be used as a stand-alone POS, handling orders and payments with nothing more than a phone and a card reader, or to compliment Onvi Serve, a POS system with printer connectivity managed from an iPad.

Peters concludes, “With festivals, food markets and other outdoor entertainment all set to be back in a big way this summer, a mobile POS solution will prove invaluable to any businesses looking to capitalise on seasonal events. They’ll be able to take orders and payments with nothing more than a smartphone and a card reader, safe in the knowledge, unlike with basic card reader systems, they’ll benefit from valuable sales information and free features which drive additional sales.”
