Ionna Jane #EndChildFoodPoverty T-shirts

A Liverpool new dad has created a t-shirt collection in bid to raise funds to help local Liverpool food banks and food charities.

Timothy Delgado, 23 from Toxteth, has only been a father for just over a month. His firstborn Gianna was born during the pandemic, which has led him to be inspired and get involved with Marcus Rashford’s campaign to help end child food poverty.

Timothy said “having a child myself has made this campaign strike a chord, I couldn’t fathom my daughter going hungry, so it’s only right I help parents and children in need”

Marcus Rashford’s petition to End Child Food Poverty has now surpassed 1,000,000 signatures.

Demanding the government should:
– Expand free school meals to all under-16s where a parent or guardian is in receipt of Universal Credit or equivalent benefit
– Provide meals & activities during all holidays
– Increase the value of Healthy Start vouchers to at least £4.25 per week, and expand the scheme.

The fashion brand named after Delgado’s daughter, Ioanna Jane, has listed the #EndChildFoodPoverty merchandise on their website for £25.

The fashion designer added “We stand with Rashford, no child should go hungry”

30% of each t-shirt sold, will be donated to local Liverpool food banks and charities.

The #EndChildFoodPoverty t-shirts are available on the Ioanna Jane website.
