Yorkshire House

Yorkshire House, the former Yorkshire Building Society HQ on Chapel Street in Liverpool, has been further revitalized by owners Millfield Estates following a £290K programme of external window and air conditioning replacement. The Office Agency team at CBRE in Liverpool, alongside joint agents Worthington Owen, are marketing more than 10,000 sq ft of space which is now available for occupation.

CBRE’s North West Building Consultancy team project managed the upgrade, replacing old windows over four floors with modern double-glazed windows; refurbishing and retaining period style features on the ground floor; as well as completing external redecoration.   Air conditioning works have also been completed, replacing old external condensers with the most up to date, efficient system.

The building has seen significant ongoing investment over the last 4 years and additional works are already underway to refurbish the first and second floors, including the sub-division of the second floor into two office suites to accommodate a wider range of occupiers.  This work will complete in Q1 2021.

More than 7,000 sq ft of office space will be available on the first and second floors with suites ranging from 1,323 sq ft to 3,316 sq ft and 3,283 sq ft is ready for occupation on the third floor. The significant architectural building set over 8 floors offers modern, high class spacious accommodation with views across the River Mersey and enjoys excellent transport links.

“Millfield Estates’ continued investment into upgrading Yorkshire House, since it acquired the building in 2016, is testament to the commercial growth in Liverpool and the appeal of this contemporary office space.  We are delighted to be marketing the available accommodation in the heart of Liverpool’s business district, which delivers an inspiring environment for businesses.”
