Cereal processing business Silvery Tweed Cereals is extending its support for customers with the appointment of David Overton as Head of Sales.
David joins the company this month, where he will be directly responsible for the day-to-day performance and ongoing development of the sales and new product development (NPD) teams. He will also continue to strengthen and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
David brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business, following 19 years’ working within the food industry. His career in the sector started at Sleaford Quality Foods, before moving to Kluman & Balter and subsequently spending the last 14 years with EDME Food Ingredients as UK Sales Manager.
He comments, “The chance to work at Silvery Tweed was simply too good to pass up. I already knew the business and some of the people who work here, and I knew it was a good place to be. There are lots of things I can do to help the business grow and support the brilliant NPD team, and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
