PR agency Hop PR and digital agency Immense Digital have joined forces to become Pretzel Group Ltd, after working together for over five years on a range of clients.

Pretzel Group will bring a wider range of services to its client-base, strengthening traditional PR with digital knowhow. Fronting the new venture are co-founders, Becki Rogerson, previously of Hop PR and John Butcher, owner of Immense Digital.

Emerging from lockdown stronger together, the pair will lead the new agency to deliver strategically integrated PR, digital and social media campaigns for its clients. Becki said: “After working on shared clients for several years, it became apparent there was a need for an integrated approach, joining up PR with digital and therefore offering a more rounded service for our clients. We’ve seen great success so far with our biggest clients and have won a number of new clients over with this approach.”

With its new proposition, Pretzel has won a whole host of new clients and grown existing ones organically. John said: “Positioning the business in such a way during the pandemic has been crucial for us to not only retain but win new business during these turbulent times. We’ve supported businesses small and large through a difficult market, from start-ups to established brands and everything in between.”

John continued, “We’ve had an incredibly successful few months, welcoming a number of brands onto our roster, including Virustatic Shield, the face covering business born out of the pandemic, UTH Aesthetics and ARRAN Sense of Scotland. In recent weeks we have also welcomed Oops! the discount food retailer set to open 30+ stores and Acre Pharmacy, one of the largest pharmaceutical wholesalers in the UK. These clients have great potential for us and we’re working in unison with their colleagues to act as extended members of their teams, something Pretzel does incredibly well.”

Pretzel has built a strong team of PR professionals, digital marketers, brand marketers, content creators, social media experts and designers to provide the best value for its clients. With the recent new business wins, the agency has also recruited two new individuals, including PR Account Manager Luci Cockayne whose previous experience includes roles at Peppermint Soda and McCann.
