A leading Midlands accountancy firm has experienced a doubling in demand for its auditing services, thanks to a string of new client wins and its expansion into Birmingham.

Prime Accountants Group has seen demand for its auditing services increase by 100 per cent over the past 12 months, with the firm expecting to complete 200 audits in 2022 compared with 100 in 2021.

One of its newest clients to join the auditing roster found the company as a direct result of its 2020 expansion into the West Midlands’ City of Culture, Birmingham.

Morgan Davies, director at Prime and head of the auditing and accounts department said: “With the help we are giving companies undergoing hardship due to the repercussions of Covid-19 and the cost of living crisis, we have experienced exponential growth within many of our departments.
