Workplace data analytics organisation Tiger has appointed an experienced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) strategy leader as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

Former ICSA Software International CFO Vicky Staley possesses more than 20 years of business technology expertise and was most recently international director of finance for Boats Group – which owns and operates the leading online boating marketplaces around the world.

Bolstering Tiger’s senior leadership team and managing the financial strategy to support its tech innovation roll outs, Vicky will also play a major role in overhauling the Hampshire-headquartered company’s processes and systems.

The senior appointment marks another significant milestone for Tiger which is on-track to secure 80 new subscription contracts by the end of 2021. Additionally, the organisation has launched the latest version of its workplace analytics software product, Tiger Prism.

Providing a new module helping company leaders identify patterns in their Microsoft Teams data – to improve the employee and customer experience as well as optimise their 365 licences – users gain in-depth insights from every interaction via a range of dashboards, reports, and analytics.

Following her appointment, Vicky said: “This is a truly exciting time to be joining a progressive company that is creating demand around the importance of why leaders must now understand – and unlock – workplace data. Being able to provide critical business context will help them to enhance productivity, performance, and engagement.

“I’m incredibly passionate about data analytics software and it’s been heartening to know how much the team values the role finance will play in how we progress our tech innovation, and further streamline Tiger’s processes and systems.”

Speaking about how workplace data analytics will impact businesses as they move towards a hybrid working world, Vicky added: “Companies have had to adapt quickly to meet the various challenges throughout the past 18 months. Now it’s about how swiftly they can now shift and embrace a remote and flexible working culture – with data – to drive future growth.

“I’m thrilled to be joining a specialist software organisation that has the intuitive products and expertise required to help these businesses understand and design their workplace operations accordingly, and boost performance and manage costs, as a result.”

Tiger helps 600 customers – spanning sectors including financial services, legal, manufacturing, and public sector including the NHS – to make sense of over three trillion pieces of call data per year that both improves workforce efficiency and informs business-critical decisions.

Commenting on the new appointment, Tiger CEO Jon Pickering added: “Welcoming Vicky to the team – at a time when workplace data analytics has never been more in demand – marks a significant milestone in our growth trajectory.

“Tiger has gone through a huge transformation in 2021 – transitioning from a business that largely sold on-premise technology to focusing on a recurring revenue, subscription-based and agile Software-as-a-Service model. Vicky has critical experience in this area, and will therefore play an integral part in how we deliver long-term value to our customers.”
