It welcomes exhibitors from the UK and across the world including hotels, luxury hotels, destinations, destination management companies, conference centres, venues and technology suppliers.

In 2019, the show hosted 5,000 meeting and event professionals and saw 12,000 pre-scheduled meetings held on the show floor.

The headline speaker this year will be Ric Salmon, CEO of ticketed live streaming business Drift, which produced the Live at Worthy Farm livestream for Glastonbury Festival this summer.

CHS Birmingham is a new event for businesses in the city and Midlands taking place at The ICC, Centenary Square, Birmingham, following on from a 2019 sister event in Leeds.

It is attracting exhibitors from across the UK, made up of venues, hotels and suppliers of meeting products and services, along with numerous educational sessions and networking events.

Chief Executive of Shakespeare’s England Helen Peters said: “It is great to see the meetings and events industry gaining confidence and working towards returning to full capacity post-pandemic.

“We will be representing South Warwickshire and Coventry at stands at both The Meetings Show and CHS Birmingham.

“Our aim is to boost the fantastic array of conference and meeting venues within our locale to event planners and venue finders not only from across the UK, but internationally.

“We will be illustrating our many wonderful venues for organisations looking for a central location with good transport links and state-of-the-art facilities with outstanding attractions nearby.”
