The Perceptive Communicators team at a recent away day to TopGolf

Perceptive Communicators has added to its portfolio of innovative clients after being appointed by The Clarus Networks Group to deliver public relations support, and by George Buchanan Architects in a social media capacity.

The award-winning Glasgow-based communications consultancy, which specialises in technology, built environment and science sectors, will work with their new client’s senior teams to achieve their individual goals.

Connectivity specialist The Clarus Networks Group is one of only a handful of authorised resellers of Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starlink system. An expert in finding solutions to connection challenges using satellite and 5G technology, Clarus recently installed a high speed satellite internet connection on the remote island of Papa Stour, in Shetland, for the first time, contributing to the UK Government’s Wireless Instructure Strategy.  The tech heavyweight has appointed Perceptive Communicators to support their ambitious growth plans with PR and communication services.

The second new client is George Buchanan Architects, a creative and practical design studio that prides itself on integrity and great customer service. Working together alongside joint clients AS Homes Scotland and Briar Homes, Perceptive now supports George Buchanan Architects on social media strategy, content and LinkedIn, including training their team. The George Buchanan innovative approach to design is shown across their portfolio of projects with both residential clients and housebuilders like AS Homes, with whom they recently completed the acclaimed Allison Street development in Glasgow’s South Side.

Perceptive Communicators was recently shortlisted for a hat trick of 2023 CIPR Scotland PRide Awards, including Small PR Consultancy of the Year. The specialist consultancy has also received outstanding client feedback, with a world class net promoter score of +91.

Welcoming the appointments, Julie Moulsdale, Managing Director at Perceptive Communicators, said:

“Unusually for many PR agencies, we only support clients working in the built environment, technology or science, meaning we have the depth of knowledge, senior level expertise and excellent influential contacts to help our clients achieve their goals more quickly and with more certainty. Both The Clarus Networks Group and George Buchanan Architects are industry leaders who improve lives and transform futures, and we’re very privileged to support them.

“The world of communications has changed dramatically in recent years, with many of us using social media as a news or information source. As well as media relations, we are increasingly supporting our clients with their social strategy and cost-effective targeted ads to drive awareness, engagement and leads. We have digital experts on our team, coupled with many years of communicating the right messages to the right audience, making us best placed to support social media communications.”

George Buchanan, Director of George Buchanan Architects, said: “The team at Perceptive have been instrumental in helping us raise our profile and bring life into our social channels, as well as connecting us to new opportunities and connections. We came to Perceptive via a word-of-mouth recommendation, as they have an excellent reputation for delivering results and great network in the built environment, making them a natural choice as a partner.”

Paul Coffey, Chief Technology Officer at The Clarus Networks Group, said: “I worked with Perceptive in a previous role and knew the team were experts in technology, as well as being laser-focused on delivering real results to meet company goals. Clarus has experienced a real period of growth, and Perceptive has already helped us drive new customers through raising our profile on a national and international stage.”
