Hotel Indigo® Dundee & Staybridge Suites have today (Tuesday 21st December 2021) announced the appointment of Manny Baber as new general manager of the respective 85 & 102 bedroom properties, as they focus on commercial opportunities for the year ahead.
Manny has joined the iconic hotels, set in a former jute mill, from Sleeperz Dundee and sits on many boards in the region, including Visit Dundee. He brings with him over 25 years’ experience in hospitality including 12 years at senior operational level with Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
Manny’s career has taken him to remote parts of Scotland, cities across the UK, to Dubai working with high profile hotels, managing the stays and requirements of Olympic and commonwealth teams, and the PGA, as he honed his hotelier expertise.

The Staybridge Suites adjoins Hotel Indigo® Dundee, offering serviced apartments and boutique rooms to suit a range of traveller needs, whether visiting for a short break or staying in the region for business. Managed by Cycas Hospitality, Europe’s leading hotel management company, the development forms part of a £24 million project in 2018 to transform the former linen mill into a deluxe getaway destination.
