New General Manager Savannah Lockerbie

Dundee’s Mantuary – a new male grooming concept located on the city’s Commercial Street has announced the appointment of Savannah Lockerbie as its General Manager ahead of opening later this summer.

Bringing over 15 years’ experience to the role, Savannah will oversee day-to-day operations of the business. The location is set to offer Dundonians a wide-ranging menu of treatments which will include manicures, pedicures, facials and even beard grooming services in a slick, prohibition era-inspired setting, and is currently recruiting to fill seven further roles ranging from baristas to aestheticians.

Prior to opening, Savannah, along with her soon to be appointed salon colleagues, are set to undertake Mental Health First Aid training, which will train them to spot the early signs of mental ill-health in their clients. Enabling the team to confidently signpost appropriate support to those in need, the salon is believed to be one of Scotland’s first to offer the service.

Speaking about her role, Savannah has said: ‘I can’t wait to see the salon open this summer and bring premium grooming services to the streets of Dundee. The Mantuary’s venerable team is looking forward to treating the city’s gentlemen to the grooming that they so deserve. The salon itself is like nothing Dundee has ever seen before.”

Displaying specially commissioned artwork from British artists JJ Adams and Richard Blunt, the salon will offer the city’s gentlemen the chance to enjoy their grooming treatments in a sophisticated and relaxed space. There will be a limited number of ‘Founding’ membership vouchers available to enjoy from the salon’s opening, offering gentlemen a generous credit which can be used on treatments and refreshments at the salon, in addition to a much sought-after invitation to the launch party later in the year.
