The Merrion Centre has announced its newest addition which is set to join its ever expanding culinary scene with the upcoming opening of Pho 37, offering authentic Vietnamese street food. This exciting venture is due to open its doors to the public in July 2024, bringing the rich flavours and culture of Vietnam to the heart of Leeds.

Pho 37, owned and operated by Mrs. Chi Dang, a third-generation expert in Vietnamese cuisine, is set to become a culinary hotspot in Leeds. With its established roots in Headingley, Pho 37 is now expanding to the Merrion Centre, offering a taste of Vietnam that is both traditional and innovative.

Following the announcement, Khoa Van, representative of Pho 37 said; “We are incredibly excited to bring truly authentic Vietnamese cuisine to the Merrion Centre. Our mission is to offer an unforgettable dining experience that transports our guests to the bustling streets of Vietnam, right here in the heart of Leeds.”

The new venue, spanning 50 seats, will not only offer an extensive menu of Vietnamese delights, but will also create 20 new job opportunities for the local community, contributing to the economic growth of the area. In addition, for special occasions there will be two VIP function rooms on the upper level where guests can celebrate Vietnamese style including Karaoke with a selection of specialist Vietnamese beers.

To celebrate the opening, Pho 37 will host a launch party, inviting guests to experience the flavours of Vietnam firsthand.
