Property consultant Eddisons has made three promotions across its South West and South Wales region. Based in the firm’s Bristol office, Charlie Whitehead and Jeremy Harris have become associate directors and Alex Smith, who works across the firm’s Bristol and Cardiff offices, is now a senior surveyor.

The three are all valuation specialists with Harris and Smith focusing on residential and commercial property and Whitehead specialising in providing valuations for the medical, healthcare, hospitality and leisure markets.

Eddisons South West and South Wales regional director David Chichester said: “Congratulations to Charlie, Jeremy and Alex on these well-deserved promotions, which will also help us to drive growth as a firm and provide the best service for the high street banks, pension firms and others that make up our client base across the region.

“While there have been some huge challenges facing the country and the property market over the last 18 months, there are encouraging signs of improvement and we are better equipped than ever to advise clients, with an in-depth understanding of the market using our specialist skills and expertise.”

Eddisons employs a 16-strong team in its South West and South Wales region with further hires to be announced this Spring. The fast-growing firm’s South West and South Wales region incorporates offices in Bristol, Cardiff, Bath, Cheltenham, Swindon and Exeter.

Bristol-based Eddisons director Chris Thomas added: “This latest round of promotions is indicative of our commitment to being an employer of choice and a great place to work. Eddisons is passionate about investing in our people and helping them to develop their careers within the firm as well as attracting and retaining new talent.”

Following a series of recent acquisitions, including that of SDL Property Auctions in December, Eddisons now employs around 500 people, including a 100-strong valuation team, across a network of more than 30 UK offices.
