Redrow South West has announced a new development

An award-winning housebuilder has announced it has acquired land for a proposed new development of 80 homes in Filton, Bristol.

Redrow South West has acquired a 7.8-acre site, with plans to build one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, providing both private and affordable housing for the area.

The housebuilder will also be investing more than £480,000 into the local community as part of its commitment to creating thriving communities. Funding will be allocated towards improving public transport links, in addition to creating new green open spaces for the community to enjoy.

“Here at Redrow, we strive to create sustainable, thriving communities at each of our developments through building high-quality homes and investing in the local area, which is why we will be contributing more than £480,000 to fund local infrastructure, public transport links and green spaces.

“Our homes have already proven to be popular in the region, with our nearby development Frenchay Gardens now sold out. We encourage first-time buyers, young professionals, rightsizers and families to register their interest to be one of the first to hear when our homes are released.”

Located in Filton, Charlton Common is surrounded by large green open spaces and is within easy reach of Bristol’s vibrant city centre. The development offers the perfect balance of city and scenic living and is perfectly placed for first-time buyers, young professionals and families alike.
