Paul Gott, Chief Operating Officer at Beelivery

Beelivery, the UK’s largest on demand grocery delivery service, has announced a major expansion of their senior executive team with the addition of deeply experienced leaders in operations, marketing, finance, and human resources.

In addition to recruiting three new key players to the leadership team, Beelivery Chairmen and Co-Founders, Lee Parkinson and Yazan Bin Mohammad, announced the addition of 30 new staff members across all sectors of the business including IT services and programming, customer service, marketing, social media, human resources, and finance.

Chief Operations Officer, Paul Gott, with more than 30 years of experience in senior management roles, has been working with the founders since joining last year to lead the team to deliver great customer experience and head the expansion of the business through new service design and development and improving the profitability of the operation.

Paul says, “The added firepower now in our leadership team will help us continue to scale our infrastructure to meet our growing demand and ambitious plans. Each one of our new directors brings a breadth and depth of experience that will help energise our entire organisation to sustain our momentum and keep pace with our continued growth in the market.”

New Chief Marketing Officer, Lindsay Ball, was brought on board due to her strong portfolio in working with ‘flagship’ brands within FTSE 250 and private equity organisations in this retail sector. Lindsay has over 30 years’ omni-channel marketing and commercial experience including Greggs, Dominos, Pizza Hut, Leasing dot com, offering an enviable blend of classic brand marketing strategy, digital and e-commerce success.

Paul Coburn, Beelivery’s new Chief Financial Officer, is an Ernst & Young trained chartered accountant with a wealth of experience in the software/tech, manufacturing, logistics, and retail sectors. His experience extends from being an FD for SMEs, to working in a large corporate environment and has extensive experience of meeting the challenges of a rapidly growing business.

The newly appointed Chief People Officer, Mandy Hamerla, is a strategic HR professional who will be providing expert solutions to help transform Beelivery’s 50,000 self-employed drivers from a ‘network’ to a ‘community’. With a background in corporate HR for big brands and companies including Argos and Pearson, Mandy will add invaluable experience in helping to build a loyal and productive team.
