Pro 11 Wellbeing, a leading British podiatry and sports product provider, have donated 1800 of their Baby Wraps to local charities that support women and children.

The large donation, which was delivered on Friday, was split between two organisations. The first being Leeds Baby Bank who support families in and around Leeds to ensure that no baby goes without.

Leeds Baby Bank said, “The massive donation of slings by Pro 11 Wellbeing means that we can ensure mums and dads are able to take their little ones out safely. We want to say a huge thank you from us at Leeds Baby Bank.”

Andrew Dickinson, Managing Director of Pro 11 Wellbeing, said, “At Pro 11 Wellbeing our ethos is to support people to lead a happy and healthy life. For us, Christmas is a time to recognise how lucky we are to be able to do that and to support those who may not be so fortunate this year. We’re so thankful that we’ve been able to do that by helping to provide many women and newborn babies with essential items.”

Pro 11 Wellbeing have been experts in health and wellbeing for 20 years now with their products held in esteem by not only the NHS but many high profile sporting figures.

Their mission of supporting others to live a healthy life, both physically and mentally, is at the heart of all they do. Building upon this ethos, their second donation this Christmas, will help Wakefield’s homeless community.

On Friday, Pro 11 Wellbeing also donated a large quantity of their Baby Wraps to community interest company, My Eco Baby.

My Eco Baby will be using their Wakefield shop to sell each baby wrap for just £1, all profits will be donated to Wakefield Street Kitchen.

The money raised by this will help Wakefield Street kitchen to provide food and other essential items to the homeless this Christmas period.

Andrew Dickinson said, “We’re Wakefield through and through. We live in Wakefield, our company is based here and so are our friends and family. To be able to help our local community in this way is so important to us, even more so at Christmas time.”
