Promoting ‘active fertility’ health, femme health has launched in a bid to help the 1 in 7 people trying to conceive.  It’s the first fertility and conception online department store, securing brand partnerships with proven fertility-related products.

Led by women, for women; femme health aims to offer a light-hearted yet supportive platform for fertility and women’s health. The online store is split into sections for easy navigation; including women’s health, sex and active fertility and features over 40 brands and 160 products.

TV personality and influencer Amy Hart is a brand ambassador for femme health; whose own fertility journey in her twenties took her on a long journey for information and support.  Amy publicly decided to freeze her eggs at the age of 28 after receiving a low AMH level test on Loose Women.“I think femme health is such an amazing platform.  There is so much conflicting information online, and so much to trawl through, having one place to shop before you visit a clinic is incredible, with lots of helpful things like blogs, product spotlights and experts is absolutely amazing, I wish femme had been around when I first started looking into my fertility’

Part of UnaHealth Ltd, a professional diagnostic company, femmehealth’s three founders have all had their own personal experiences to draw upon. Laura Cartwright one of the first co-founders confirms: “There’s a gap in the market for a comprehensive fertility experience for women, so we wanted to create a trusted, positive space for women to shop fertility and wellbeing. As a healthcare company, it was important for us to work with brands that we know are trusted, have medical research behind them, but also to be able to give impartial advice and information to those on their fertility journey – at whatever stage that may be.

For us it starts with good period health.”

Stefanie Meachin, brand director and co-founder believes:  “it’s a new era of women’s wellness, when it comes to online shopping” and has been working closely with the brands, experts and Amy Hart for the launch.

It’s this collaboration of top brands, expert insights, and the platform’s association with fertility charities that resonates so deeply with Amy Hart who feels it’s more than a partnership – it’s a mission. “It’s so much more than a website,” she emphasises, ‘femme health is a hub that will help you on your fertility journey and beyond. When I try for my next baby, I am really looking forward to using femme health to research all the different options that are available and make the best matrix to help me on my journey. It is the change and access we need as women, and the signposting.” Amy confirms.

BANT Nutritionist Julie Gough joins Tracey Sainsbury, Fertility Counsellor, and The Sonder Coach Anna Hobson on the expert panel helping the founders to support women.  They will be providing advice and regular content on the latest scientific research and strategies.

femme health has also partnered with London-based charity The Fertility Foundation whose impressive work offers grants to couples and solo individuals requiring grants to access fertility treatment. They will donate a portion of their marketing income to support their mission which also includes advocating for standardised access to IVF, instead of the current postcode lottery.

Third co-founder Sarah Barnessums it up: “femme is here to offer a space for the entire journey – from period to menopause.  We straddle the gap between modern medicine and fertility wellbeing, giving women the information, products and support they need to flourish.”
