ArrowXL, the UK’s largest and longest established two-person home delivery specialist, announces the retirement of John McKenzie, a dedicated and accomplished Senior Strategic Account Manager who has been an integral part of the company for 37 years.

John joined the company in 1987 and has held a number of roles across the organisation, moving locations several times to take on various responsibilities. Most recently he was based in the Worcester depot where he managed ArrowXL’s largest account, responsible for over 1 million 2-man deliveries per year.

John played a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining key client relationships, contributing significantly to the company’s growth.  Over the years, he has successfully navigated the evolving logistics landscape, adapting to new challenges with a constant dedication to client satisfaction.

John commented: “I feel incredibly lucky to have worked for such a supportive organisation led by an accessible and passionate Senior Leadership team.  Throughout my career with ArrowXL I’ve been offered some fantastic roles and had the opportunity to work with a variety of departments.  No day has ever been the same, even in my final week!
