Built environment and construction consultant Drees & Sommer UK has bolstered its presence in the South West with the appointment of Claire Robertson as Divisional Director.
An experienced Project Manager and well-connected member of Bristol’s business community, Claire will take a lead role in driving regional growth for Drees & Sommer UK and capitalising on new market opportunities in the South West.
Drees & Sommer UK was formed through the merger of Drees & Sommer and leading UK consultant AA Projects. The integration complements AA Projects’ 25 years of expertise in project management and cost consultancy with 50 years of innovative German engineering, international scale and a balanced portfolio of public and private sector experience.
With over 14 years’ experience as a Project Manager, Claire has worked internationally in both Australia and the UK, across a broad range of sectors including geo-environmental, residential, corporate, heritage and education. She joins the business from Gleeds, where she worked as Project Director.

Initially, Claire will be responsible for supporting the leadership of the Project Management business nationally through existing commissions, collaborating with clients and staff. Claire will also lead on the expansion of Drees & Sommer UK’s offer into the South West of England.
