Edward Thomas Interiors for Gleeson Homes

Following a competitive tender process, show home and sales centre specialist, Edward Thomas Interiors has been appointed onto the interior design framework of national housebuilder, Gleeson Homes.

The two-year framework will procure interior design services for Gleeson Homes’ six regions, spanning the Midlands and North of England. Birmingham-based Edward Thomas Interiors, who began working with Gleeson in November 2022, has secured one of four positions on the framework.

“Gleeson Homes is a relatively new client for our business; we only began partnering the team at the end of 2022 when they required rapid interior design expertise,” explains Steve Hird, Edward Thomas Interiors’ director and co-founder. “In the space of three months, we designed and installed approximately 25 show homes across five regions, to ensure developments could launch as scheduled.

“Following this success, we were delighted to be invited to tender for the interior design framework, including presenting design concepts for four contrasting house types to their board. We’re extremely pleased our creativity and originality was recognised and rewarded with a position on this framework. We now look forward to continuing to partner Gleeson Homes to deliver memorable show homes across the UK.”

When we needed urgent interior design support, they stepped in and quickly turned around show homes of outstanding quality, on budget. Managing this volume with efficiency and professionalism is not an easy task but Edward Thomas Interiors delivered without fail. Their agility, creativity and speed of response was invaluable, and we were delighted to accept them onto our interior design framework following their successful tender.”

Under the framework, which runs until March 2025, Edward Thomas Interiors has already completed the first installations at Petersmiths Park in Nottinghamshire, St Andrew’s Heights in Skegby and Tulip Fields in Holbeach.
