A Lord Combustion Services team member at work on an Ariston Elco system

Commercial heating and ventilation specialist Lord Combustion Services has been appointed as the services partner for a leading international heating equipment manufacturer.

Oldbury-based Lord Combustion Services is partnering with the Ariston Group UK, which includes the Ariston, ELCO Heating Solutions and ATAG Commercial brands, in the West Midlands region to build upon their work together delivering energy-efficient heating systems for customers.

Lord Combustion Services will service Ariston, ELCO Heating Solutions and ATAG Commercial product ranges including Heat Pumps, Boilers and hot water solutions under the new partnership while offering customers access to extended warranties and other benefits when they commission Ariston Group UK products for installation.

A global leader in energy efficient heating and hot water solutions for domestic, commercial and industrial spaces, Ariston Group operates the ELCO Heating Solutions brand to manufacture commercial heat pumps, gas boilers, burners and hot water generation and storage systems, while ATAG Commercial has been a leading manufacturer in heating solutions for more than 70 years.

Lord Combustion Services managing director Stuart Smith said: “We are pleased to work with Ariston Group UK and its leading brands to provide high quality solutions for our customers across the West Midlands. Lord Combustion Services will have the full resources of the manufacturer behind us to make our offering highly competitive in the market.

“We have benefitted from working closely with Ariston Group UK in the past and will be pleased to ensure our customers have access to strong warranty proposals, further strengthening the range of offerings from our company which include award winning maintenance, repair and installation services for a host of sectors.”

Steve Cudd, Head of After-sales at Ariston Group UK, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Lord Combustion Services to build upon the progress we have made in delivering high quality products and services to customers in the West Midlands region. With shared values around efficiency and customer service, we look forward to delivering further success.”

The partnership comes after Lord featured in a case study from ELCO Heating Solutions promoting a project to install energy-efficient systems at an academy secondary school in the West Midlands to reduce its carbon footprint by enhancing its heating and hot water systems. Lord worked with ELCO to design and install an efficient system to assist the academy trust work towards its decarbonisation targets. System controls were installed to optimise energy usage, along with five Aerotop L65 air source heat pump units supplementing the existing heating system.

Lord Combustion Services was recognised for its achievements in reducing clients’ environmental impact when it won the 2021 sustainability trophy at the West Midlands Business Masters Awards. In 2022, during a visit from West Midlands Mayor Andy Street, Lord signed the West Midlands Net Zero Pledge to be part of the region’s drive to “become a net zero carbon economy by 2041”.

Operating since 1982, Lord has a team of nearly 50 staff working with more than 1,000 customers, including schools and health sites. Lord won the Outstanding Support for the Armed Forces prize at the 2023 Black Country Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for its work with service personnel.
