Tristan Haigh has joined leading office interior design consultancy, Office Principles, as its new finance director.

A leading office interior design consultancy has strengthened its established senior team with the recruitment of an experienced group finance director.

Office Principles has appointed Tristan Haigh to help shape its financial strategy and accelerate business growth.

Tristan has more than 25 years’ experience in finance and operations at a senior level, with a multi-industry background that includes roles with major furniture and manufacturing brands.

He joins Office Principles from US furniture manufacturer La-Z-Boy where he served as finance director of the firm’s international division, having previously led the re-acquisition of its UK-based subsidiary.

Office Principles specialises in the delivery of workplace consultancy, office design and project management services to a growing portfolio of clients in a wide range of sectors.

Established in 1988, it has expanded from a single design studio into four regional offices in Reading, London, Birmingham and Manchester, employing a team of 65 people.

Office Principles is well on the way to transforming 1,500 workplaces for clients across the UK. Recent projects include an award-winning refurbishment for housing association Saxon Weald in West Sussex, Lounge Underwear’s new 54,000 sq ft headquarters in Solihull, and the CAT A/CAT A plus fit out of Wilson’s Corner, a six-storey office building in East Central London, on behalf of NFU Mutual and Ergo Real Estate.
