A human resources expert from Ashby-de-la-Zouch has established her own business offering HR advice and support to local small and medium-sized companies in the area.
After a varied corporate career, providing HR expertise in several different senior roles, Nicola Morrison has taken the opportunity to launch The HR Dept Loughborough, West Bridgford, and Ashby-De-La-Zouch providing outsourced services to smaller companies in the local area.
Nicola started her HR career over 20 years ago, began as a workforce planning lead, and progressed working in multiple roles all the way up to Executive/C suite positions.
“My background has given me full exposure across the full HR portfolio but also enabled me to see the mechanics of various businesses/industries and how effective HR management/ practice can support the success of a business. I also run my own business – so I guess that also helps in terms of understanding the good, the bad, and the ugly!”
Nicola, a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, has a track record of introducing both strategic and operational change in order to achieve business resilience, efficiency, and continuous improvement. She is thrilled to provide outsourced HR and employment law solutions to SMEs within the local community.
