Renowned national property specialist, Centrick, is set to open its first Southampton-based branch this month. The expansion comes as the result of continued growth throughout the region for the company, and will allow Centrick to offer its Estate Management and BTR (Build to Rent) services to clients with properties across Hampshire, Dorset and beyond.

Based within Ocean Village, Centrick’s new office will be located in the heart of the city, surrounded by some of the most premium apartment buildings Southampton has to offer. The residential property specialist already manages a portfolio in excess of 1,500 units in the southern region, with more apartment complexes in Portsmouth, Fareham and Bournemouth set to join in the coming months.

As well as building a trusted reputation as a market leader across the national property scene, Centrick has been involved in the government’s advisory panel for building safety to champion the interests of leaseholders throughout the current cladding crisis. What’s more, the company was one of the first to secure remuneration for its clients as part of the government’s £1bn cladding building safety fund, receiving a £400K grant earlier this year.

James Ackrill, Centrick’s Chairman, is set to head up the new Southampton office and is confident that the new branch will help further position the business as industry leaders on both a regional and national scale. He commented:

“We wholeheartedly believe that the opening of the Southampton office is truly game-changing – both for us as a business, and those in the region looking for a full-service property agency that does things differently. Despite the challenges of last year, 2021 has already seen Centrick go from strength-to-strength, acquiring additional properties, welcoming new employees, and signing more projects – now, this expansion to Southampton truly consolidates it all.

“Our new branch will position Centrick right in the hub of Southampton’s bustling business district and marks another milestone occasion for us to celebrate. As well as welcoming new talent to the team, we’re excited to imminently announce our next steps and projects in the coming weeks and months.”

Centrick has grown consistently since its inception 15 years ago, by successfully prioritising innovation, expertise, and building trusted relationships with its clients to deliver high quality service and results. Since first opening its doors in 2005, the agency now has over 16,000 properties across the UK on its books and manages over £1.5bn in client assets.

Headquartered in the Midlands, Centrick has established its trusted reputation as market-leader in the nation’s property scene, with existing offices in Birmingham, Solihull, Nottingham, and London. Centrick’s move into Southampton is set to bring a wealth of experience, talent and drive to the region.

“In recent years, our team of experienced, motivated individuals has grown rapidly and now numbers at 130 employees across the business. Our Hampshire-based team will service freeholders, leaseholders and investment organisations across the region looking for Estate Management and Build to Rent (BTR) service that can maintain or improve asset value and look forward to growing our exisiting and new client relationships within the region in the coming months,” James added.
