D2L demonstrates its commitment to the UK/EU Membership Sector, helping to enable high-quality learning and development for Membership and Association Professionals

D2L, a global learning technology company, announced that it has been recognised by the MemberWise Network for its year-round commitment to best practice sharing within the membership and association sector, and its alignment with the network. D2L is the network’s first Learning Management System (LMS) provider to become an official partner.

The MemberWise Network is an independent professional network that provides practical help and support to approximately 8,000+ professionals, representing over 2,500 membership bodies in the U.K. and overseas. It provides practical help and support for membership and association professionals, at all levels and career stages, to enable them to improve existing member retention, increase new member acquisition, enhance value, and optimise member engagement and participation in order to enable sustainable long-term growth.

MemberWise optimises networking opportunities to support internal and external membership body activity. As a partner, D2L can deliver high-quality learning and development capabilities for a broader reach of association professionals. Through this recognition, D2L joins other organisations that support the membership sector, having a strong focus on best practices and a year-round alignment to working with the MemberWise Network.

“We are proud to be the first LMS provider to be recognised as an official partner, as the membership and association sector is extremely important and valuable to our business,” said Matthew Ravenhill, EMEA director, Corporate and Professional Learning at D2L. “We regularly contribute to the MemberWise Webcast and the network’s highly respected conferences and events. In time, we hope to take this relationship to the next level.”

“We have worked closely with D2L for a number of years, and during that time, we have helped to advance our learning offering and further share knowledge between membership organisations and associations,” said Richard Gott, MemberWise Network Chair. “We look forward to working with D2L over the coming months and expanding our outreach.”
