Derby’s best-loved retail and leisure destination, Derbion, has announced that Goldsmiths has reopened following a complete refurbishment and an increase in size, revealing a brand-new concept store.
One of the UK’s leading luxury watch and jewellery retailers and part of the Watches of Switzerland Group, Goldsmiths, has opened the doors to its new Derbion concept showroom, which boasts a new modular design, luxury finishes and matching colour scheme.
Goldsmiths, located on Level 1, unveiled the revamped store that features an elegant wrap around glass frontage and fresh luxury interior open plan layout, plus an expansion into an adjacent unit that increased its in-centre footprint by 1,000 sq. ft, on Friday 11 August.
The refurbishment provides shoppers with access to new brands including Oris, Hamilton, Seiko Prospex and FOPE, alongside improved branded areas for much-loved brands such as TAG Heuer, Longines and Tissot. Additionally, the expansion has introduced a dedicated seating area for services and repairs customers.
Elsewhere in Derbion, renowned jewellers Beaverbrooks has increased its in-centre footprint to 1,628 sq. ft, introducing a new adjoining TAG Heuer Boutique and a dedicated Gucci area, alongside Baume & Mercier, Rado and Beaverbrooks’ own-brand diamonds and jewellery. Additionally, Ernest Jones has also recently significantly invested in its existing space to offer shoppers a wider range of big-name brands, refreshed store design and new in-store experiences.
