One of the accountancy industry’s leading conferences is to return this spring in a new-look format – and will feature world-renowned guest speakers including a Dragons’ Den star, and the co-founder of Xero.

Outsourcing and offshoring firm AdvanceTrack promises gbX 2024 will be its “biggest and best event yet” – with the great and good of the accounting and business world expected to attend.

This year’s ‘growth booster’-themed event will take place at the prestigious British Museum in May, and among a list of exciting keynote speakers will be business investor and former Dragons’ Den star James Caan CBE. He will be joined by Hamish Edwards, the co-founder of accounting software giant Xero; as well as NED and angel investor Gary Turner – plus a host of other top accountancy industry names.
The seventh annual conference run by AdvanceTrack but returning in a brand-new format and name, gbX 2024 aims to bring the accountants of the future together and empower them with the tools to grow a thriving business.

Vipul Sheth, MD of AdvanceTrack, who will also be speaking at the event, said: “Our conferences are becoming a real highlight in the accountancy industry calendar, and it’s safe to say AdvanceTrack gbX 2024 will be the biggest and best yet. In terms of our unmissable keynotes, the reputations of James, Hamish and Gary truly speak for themselves, and I know we’re all looking forward to hearing what they have to say.

“We’re hoping the event will allow attendees to grow and succeed together, learning from each other’s experiences as well as gaining key insight from our speakers, allowing them each to walk away with improvements they can practically implement in their firms.”

Other industry figures set to hold sessions at the hotly anticipated event include Paul Shrimpling of Remarkable Practice, Anneli Thomson of Sandler, Natasha Frangos, Managing Partner of haysmacintyre, Eriona Bajrakurtaj, Managing Director of Major’s Accounts, David Hassall of XU Magazine, Aynsley Damery of Clarity, Louise Walpole of MoneyPenny, Matt Flanagan of Appacus and Bluehub, and AdvanceTrack’s Ian Gregory and Craig McKell.
