Student, Mounika, at Henshaw's Specialist College

The mobility division of a national lift company has given financial support to a local college that supports young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.

The team, based in Tingley, has made a donation to Henshaws Specialist College in Harrogate to support their day and residential places for young people, aged 16 to 25, with special needs.

At its custom-built campus on Bogs Lane, the College helps students prepare for employment, make friends and learn to live more independently. It helps make their aspirations and goals possible.

The £200 donation is a welcome boost to the College and will be spent on hoisting equipment.
