Spencer Russell joins the JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers Birmingham office as account handler, specialising in real estate and construction insurance services.
Spencer joins the Birmingham team from Bennett Gould & Partners, where he worked for three years as an account handler. In his new role, Spencer will support clients in the property sector with insurance policy queries and renewals, as well as being involved with new business and marketing initiatives.
He started his career in the insurance industry straight out of University, where he studied Chemistry. Spencer has developed a keen interest in the construction and real estate industry and is eager to develop in his role and enhance the service the business offers. Spencer’s appointment takes the head count at the Birmingham office to three.

Says Spencer: “The role really appealed to me because of the opportunity to work in this more specialist field of insurance broking. It’s an exciting new challenge for me and I’m already enjoying working on some of the more complex policy requirements and I’ve learned a great deal working alongside Chris.”
JM Glendinning Birmingham was established in 2017 to provide a boutique insurance broking service for developers, investors and contractors of all sizes and specialisms in the real estate and construction sector. The office fulfils the insurance requirements of development and property investment projects, whether it is at acquisition stage or through to the income producing asset.
