Liverpool Football Club and Google Pixel have announced a significant and long-term partnership that will see Google Pixel become the official mobile phone partner of the club. This collaboration aims to enhance fan engagement and bring supporters even closer to the heart of the game using cutting-edge AI-powered technology.

Through this strategic alliance, Liverpool FC and Google Pixel will collaboratively develop exclusive content and innovative experiences for both the men’s and women’s teams. Leveraging the advanced AI-powered camera features of Google Pixel devices, fans will have the opportunity to enjoy enhanced experiences within Anfield and Prenton Park, as well as from the comfort of their own homes.

The partnership holds a particular focus on narrowing the visibility gap between men’s and women’s football, with the intention of inspiring more girls and women to participate in the sport and drive its progress forward.

The multi-year collaboration will start with the creation of Liverpool FC’s first-ever dedicated women’s football show on YouTube, providing an in-depth look behind the scenes during the WSL season. Additionally, a content series titled “Pitchside, Presented by Pixel” will grant fans unprecedented access to exclusive content captured from the sidelines, all filmed using Google Pixel smartphones.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Ben Latty, Commercial Director at Liverpool FC, commented, “We are incredibly proud to be announcing this Partnership between Liverpool FC and Google Pixel. At LFC, it is important to us that we are not only Partnering with the biggest and most exciting brands, but that the brands we are Partnering with allow us to offer something of real value to our supporters.”

Eileen Mannion, Vice President Marketing at Google UK, expressed Google’s excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Liverpool Football Club. As their Official Mobile Phone partner, Pixel will use its legendary AI-powered camera to enhance the matchday experience, bringing fans closer to the game they love and helping them capture all the emotions of football.”

The partnership also extends its support to Pixel FC, a significant collective of content creators and presenters dedicated to women’s football. Exclusive access, training, tools, and investment will be provided to bolster the growth of women’s football content.

This partnership represents Google Pixel’s expanding role in football, strengthening its presence across both national and international competitions and aiming to enrich the experiences of fans at all levels of the game.
