IRARA to capitalise on diverse work force

A Sheffield-based migrant reintegration service has expanded its operations in response to the increase in citizens returning to their home countries after a period of living in Europe and the UK through the acquisition of a new office in Sheffield’s UKSE Innovation Centre.

IRARA, which was previously based out of Kelham Island, has committed to two units within the Portobello Street centre, totalling 860 sq. ft.

The office will serve as its new Global Operations Centre, which supports all teams in those 3rd countries and liaise between those countries and the European Governments.

IRARA operates in more than 20 countries and is committed to creating Positive Futures for all through an experienced team on the ground, with all team members originating from the countries they support.

Commenting on the move into the impressive, centrally located Innovation Centre, IRARA Communications Manager, Lynda Ollivent, said it was reflective of their ambitions to grow their  footprint  in the next 12 months both in the UK and through expansion into new countries of return.

The arrival of IRARA means that the Portobello Street, UKSE facility only has 3 units to let, with a number of other tech start-up companies and businesses already taking advantage of the site’s central location, as well as its 24-hour access, serviced reception, high-speed broadband and CCTV operations.

Lynda Ollivent, IRARA Communications Manager, said: “Sheffield offers the opportunity to recruit from a diverse workforce needed to support our operations globally.

“When searching for a new office, we were attracted to the campus style approach, and the flexibility to expand our contract as the business evolves, the central location and access to public transport links also helps us to appeal to a wider employee base.”

Welcoming the new tenants, Ivy Napp, Receptionist and Admistrator at UKSE, said: “We’re delighted to welcome IRARA to the UKSE Innovation Centre.

“The office is ideally situated in the City Centre, and in close proximity to both of the Universities, which are a great source of talent for any growing business.”
