Stockport ingredients supplier welcomes Andy Leech to senior management team.

EHL Ingredients has announced the appointment of Andy Leech as new production manager at its Stockport site. He will be responsible for ensuring the adequate supply of raw materials and supplies to meet stock requirements and customer orders. He will manage the production and facilities – now across three sites on Broadstone Industrial Estate, Stockport – and will ensure all operations run efficiently to meet customer and supplier deadlines and requirements. He will oversee the packing and blending operations as well as provide advice on process improvements and health and safety.

He brings over ten years of industry experience in production planning and management, data analysis, health and safety, and management of stakeholders.

The leading importer, blender and packer of international food ingredients is experiencing a period of growth as it bounces back after the challenging pandemic years. It has invested in new machinery and welcomed new additions to the team in the technical, sales and customer service departments.

EHL Ingredients imports, blends and packs natural dried herbs and spices from around the world – from paprika and parsley, to chillies and cardamom. It also supplies blends such as curry powders, harissa, Tex-Mex, BBQ, and seasonings for sausages and burgers, as well as a range for plant based, vegan and vegetarian foods. It supplies ingredients in organic and conventional format in bulk, under its Lähde brand, to the food manufacturing industry, to retailers, and to the catering and hospitality sectors.
