Manchester based creative agency, Think, has unveiled its latest client re-brand – this time for one of the oldest established roofing brands in the world, Keymer.

Keymer approached the award-winning creative agency and briefed the team to create a brand that would help them become the first choice in handmade clay roof tiles.

Following a critical review of the heritage brand and its assets, Think identified several opportunities to deliver the brief including creating a new brand identity, website and comprehensive catalogue of multimedia collateral for Keymer.

Paul Grogan, founder and creative director at Think said: “Working with Keymer on this amazing brief was fantastic.

“Keymer has a rich history with people at its heart; it’s about craft, care and quality. It’s a brand that moves with the times; and is trusted. When they approached us with the brief – we were really excited.”

Think created a new logotype, brand-new British typeface, brand toolkit and guidelines for Keymer. The agency also created a new simple and effective website which improved the user experience to access product information and services offered by Keymer, as well as the ability to ‘shop’ for samples.

Charlotte Hockney, lead digital marketing manager at Keymer said: “We wanted a new brand image that could maintain and reflect our heritage, but also engage a more contemporary architectural audience. What Think has produced for us is fantastic and feedback so far has been incredible.”

Paul Grogan added: “We are delighted to have help helped reposition Keymer to appeal to new market segments, while maintaining their premium position in the heritage sector.

“This has been a fantastic piece of work that has really delivered against the brief and we’re really proud of it.”
