CBRE has appointed Paul Surgeon as Director within its expanding Rating team to support continued strategic growth.

Surgeon joins from Montagu Evans’ Manchester office, where he was a founding member following its launch in 2014 with a remit to grow and develop the northern business.  During his time at Montagu Evans he also formed part of the leadership team for town centres and repurposing department stores, having joined the partnership from Lambert Smith Hampton.

Surgeon has been dealing with complex rating issues for 14 years and specialises in providing strategic advice to large owners, developers and occupiers.  He has represented clients in both private and public sectors, advising on major town centre regeneration schemes including Durham, Chester, Bootle and Swindon.  Surgeon also operates across a range of sectors including specialist areas such as Healthcare where he has valued large purpose built hospitals for rating purposes.
