Smart IT, the North East’s leading ICT solution provider, is set to celebrate another phenomenal year of staff and revenue growth with a move into new premises in Gateshead this summer. It is the company’s first office move since 2016 and it comes following a year of exceptional success, with almost 20% more staff taking the total up to 60, and 28% revenue growth. Future plans are ambitious, and revenue is forecast to increase by at least another 15% in the coming financial year.
The new office space, just a few minutes from the current office, will have capacity for over 150 staff and will be the head office for all support and finance. The additional space will offer facilities for extra training for Smart IT’s staffing team and facilitate extensive training sessions with clients.
Along with staff and revenue increases, Smart IT has also had success in awards schemes. It has been shortlisted for the Reseller of the Year (Mid-Market) Award in the Comms Business awards scheme which recognises a high level of innovation and reliability.
Smart IT’s record with offering apprenticeships has also been recognised by the Department of Education which rated it the Best Technology Apprenticeship Employer in the North East, and ranked it 2nd as a technology employer in the Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers nationwide. Smart IT recruits up to 5 apprentices every year.
