Wolverhampton digital, animation and live streaming agency Stone’s Throw Media has demonstrated its commitment to the community by supporting a charity awards evening.

Stone’s Throw Media produced videos showcasing award winners at the inaugural Wolves Foundation Gala Dinner.

The event which took place at the Molineux Stadium on November 15 celebrated inspirational individuals and supporters of Wolverhampton FC’s official charity.

Stone’s Throw Media shot, and edited videos featuring three special award winners who were celebrated at the gala dinner for their inspirational stories and participation in Wolves Foundation projects.

The Stone’s Throw team were responsible for sharing the story of Taye, John Martin and Tayla Page who picked up awards for their exceptional contribution to community projects in the Wolverhampton area.

Over 200 people attended the inaugural Wolves Foundation Gala Dinner which highlighted the work of the Foundation in delivering over 45 unique projects and over 800,000 hours of contact time in the community over the last calendar year.

Stone’s Throw Media co-founder Matt Weston added:

“We were thrilled to be asked to support the Wolves Foundation with their very first awards event. As a Wolverhampton business we are proud to support causes that make a difference in the communities we live and work.

“The award winners featured in the videos were worthy winners, It was an honour to be able to capture their stories for everyone to see.”

Stone’s Throw Media was launched in 2011 by founders Mike Chinn and Matt Weston after they met on a University of Wolverhampton media course. The founders bill Stone’s Throw Media as being for clients “looking to grow” through video, animation and live streaming events, with staffing growing to ten this year as revenues and profits grew to new highs.

Based at Wolverhampton Science Park, Stone’s Throw, whose clients include leading brands JLR, Briggs, Greene King and the City of Wolverhampton College, were named as small business of the year at the 2022 Express & Star Apprenticeship Awards.
