Julie Miles, esteemed vocal coach and founder of Vocal Ovation, is proud to announce that her talented protege, Courtney Hadwin, has been personally invited by renowned music producer Clive Davis to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

On April 29th 2024, Courtney will appear at The New York Pops 41st Birthday Gala, which promises to be a historic moment for the young singer, performing alongside fellow guest artists including Busta Rhymes, Barry Manilow and Dionne Warwick.

Clive Davis asked her personally to pay tribute to his first-ever signing, Janis Joplin, and open the show with her classic “Another Piece of My Heart”.

A rising star in the music industry, Courtney captured the hearts of millions when she received the golden buzzer during the 13th season of America’s Got Talent. Her raw talent and Julie Miles’ expert guidance propelled her to a global stage.

Reflecting on the momentous occasion, Julie comments: “The invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall is a testament to Courtney’s extraordinary talent and hard work. It’s a dream come true for any artist, and I couldn’t be prouder of her achievements.

“For me, it’s particularly poignant as when Courtney was just 11 years old, I mentioned her similarity to Janis Joplin. I played “Cry Baby” and Courtney went home and immediately learnt the whole song! When Howie Mandel said the same thing two years later just before his golden buzzer, it was quite a moment.”

Clive Davis has left an indelible mark on the music industry. His discerning eye for talent and unparalleled ear for hit songs have shaped the careers of numerous artists worldwide.

“Clive Davis’s influence extends far beyond the music industry; it resonates with audiences worldwide,” adds Julie. “His ability to recognise and nurture talent has changed the course of music history. For Courtney to receive this invitation speaks volumes about her potential as an artist.”

The New York Pops 41st Birthday Gala at Carnegie Hall promises to be a moment of celebration for Courtney Hadwin and all those who have supported her journey. With Julie by her side, Hadwin is poised to make her mark on one of the world’s most prestigious stages, carrying forward the legacy of music excellence fostered by Clive Davis.
