The Williams team welcome Saint John's Ambulance representatives to collect the BMWs to be used at Aintree

Building on their successful partnership in 2023, Williams, the leading North West retailer of prestige vehicles, is once again supporting St John Ambulance at the iconic Aintree Grand National Festival. From Thursday, April 11th to Saturday, April 13th, 2024, two high-performance BMWs provided by Williams will be utilised by St John Ambulance volunteers, ensuring they can efficiently respond to operational needs across the vast racecourse.

In the year that Williams BMW celebrates its 50th year in the city, they are once again proud to support the Grand National for the second consecutive year, underpinning their longstanding dedication to serving the local community.

The two prestigious BMWs a BMW X3 and BMW X7 will be instrumental in transporting St John Ambulance’s dedicated team of over 300 volunteers during the event. These vehicles offer ample space for medical equipment and personnel, ensuring the team are fully prepared throughout the three-day festival.

In total around 150,000 fans attend the Grand National Festival and the main event itself is labelled the world’s most famous steeplechase. It is estimated 10 million people watch the Grand National, which has been run since 1839,  online and on TV in the UK each year. Globally, the Grand National viewing figures are thought to hit around 500 million. The record crowd numbers mean the two BMWs will need to be strategically placed on the course to gain access to key areas during the busy event and planning is already in place to maximise their use.
