Starting out a new business as the pandemic took hold of the country in March 2020, Scott Gray Auctioneer and Founder of 247 Property Auctions and a familiar face in the property industry, saw a requirement for flexible weekly online auctions serving both private and corporate clients to dispose of property and land. Offering an expertise of over 20 years in the business, with an extensive network of property connections, clients have quickly seen the benefits of buying and selling by online auction.
The company based in Devon in the South West is a RICS regulated firm of auctioneers and offers users a convenient and flexible approach to buying and selling property and land through its easy-to-use online auction platform.
Following the first year covering the South West, the team are excited to launch further afield and now offer Lots and services across the UK. Alongside working directly with private clients, the 247 Property Auctions’ team work in partnership with estate agents and commercial agents, enabling these businesses the opportunity to offer online auctions as an expansion of their professional property services portfolio.
Currently operating as an exclusively online service, the auction is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offers completely secure transactions and highly competitive fees. Initially offering the ability to sell via Traditional Online Auction only, this format sees Exchange occur as the virtual gavel falls, services now include the option to sell via the Conditional route.
Whilst tracking the market and the surge in demand this year for property and land, the auction specialist identified that Estate Agents up and down the country were using the format of sealed bids due to the competitive nature of the market. Seeing this as an opportunity to extend services and provide increased support to Partners the offer to sell via a Conditional Online Auction gives client-sellers a very relevant solution in this current climate. The format for a Conditional Auction includes a process where buyers place bids for a Lot, with a time period of 28 days following the fall of the gavel to allow for the exchange of contracts. Providing a more accessible Auction process.
