KH Hair keep it in the family for Cancer Research UK
KH Hair Group managing director, Darren Messias and KH Hair Hinckley salon director, Helen Fuller, have expressed great pride in their young sons, who have taken on the challenge of a charity skydive to raise money for a leading UK cancer charity.
Noah Messias (16) and Harry Fuller (19) braved the dive at Langar Airfield on Thursday 6th August to raise money for Cancer Research UK, KH Hair’s official charity partner for 2026.
Darren says he’s extremely proud of Noah for wanting to raise money for such an important and fantastic charity. “Obviously, my wife Heidi and I were a little nervous about the prospect of our son jumping out a plane! But it’s been on his bucket list for a while and, with Cancer Research being our company charity partner this year, he couldn’t have done it for a more worthwhile cause.”
Helen echoes Darren’s mixed feelings. “I’ve been very proud and very nervous,” she says. “My husband did a parachute jump many years ago and talking about it peaked Harry’s interest. I didn’t want him to do it on his own and certainly didn’t want my husband to do it again at his age! KH Hair’s partnership with Cancer Research UK gave us the perfect reason to go ahead and, when we heard Noah was doing it, we felt it would be great for Harry to have someone to jump with.”
Both Noah and Harry say they were really nervous beforehand but very excited to complete the skydive. “We both loved the experience and would definitely do it again. We’d like to thank everyone who kindly sponsored us and we are really proud to have raised over £1600 between us for Cancer Research UK.”
