Two experienced client managers have joined Alexander Accountancy to support the growth of the business by serving the portfolio of larger customers.

Lucy Cooper and Tracy Turner have been appointed by the firm, based in Wetmore Road, Burton upon Trent, to ensure a personal approach to customer support and rapid response times remain central to services as the firm scales.

Senior client manager Lucy Cooper joins in the latest stage of a career which has seen her progress from her first role as an accounts clerk to holding senior roles, including account management positions, for leading companies in the local region.

Lucy said she joined Alexander Accountancy in order to draw upon the client facing experience which she has previously enjoyed.

She said: “Accountancy is shifting with the increased use of technology but the added value of supporting customers is still important.

“Alexander Accountancy customers appreciate the communication and support which we offer. I am pleased to have joined a company where clients benefit from a personal service so I am looking forward to helping them.”

Tracy Turner brings more than three decades of experience in the financial services industry to the role, having begun her career as an apprentice at Dains Accountants in 1990.

She joins Alexander Accountancy from Swadlincote-based property management company Ground Solutions, where she worked closely with the Alexander Accountancy team.

In her new role as key client manager, she will focus on servicing Alexander Accountancy’s portfolio of larger key accounts.

Commenting on her appointment Tracy added: “Having worked with Alexander Accountancy in my previous role I am excited to join the business.

“Everyone is very friendly, supportive and helpful. I look forward to getting to know my clients and working closely with them to meet their objectives.”

Operating since 1984, Alexander Accountancy offers client services beyond compliance and tax advice to include back-office support and data processing, management information, budgets and forecasts, as well as assisting in negotiations.

Alexander Accountancy chairman David Alexander said: “The wealth of experience and expertise offered by Lucy and Tracy will make them outstanding additions to the team.

“We are delighted to welcome them both into their roles and are sure they will both make a positive contribution to our business.”
