As we move further into winter, conversations and idle chit chat with friends and family may very quickly turn to the subject of dreaded New Year’s Eve planning. But, let’s face it, it can be one of the most overrated nights of the year, and many have been scorched with disappointment by what promised to be firework-lit festivities turning out to be more of a damp squib.
