Birmingham EV Charger Experts Appoint Operations Director Amid Rapid Growth
A fast-growing Birmingham electric vehicle charging company has appointed an operations director as demand continues to soar.
Brum-E Car Chargers is experiencing unprecedented growth, with a jump from a handful of orders when it first started in 2023 to around 100 a month.
The company, based at Five Ways and currently employing a team of eight, has welcomed Tim Hall as to the vital role. Tim is returning to Brum-E after working as one of its installers in its early days, and described the move as “feeling like coming home.”
Founder Pat Pryce said Tim was a safe pair of hands to oversee day-to-day running of the business, allowing him to focus on driving Brum-E forward. Pat attributed the firm’s success to its fixed price of from £999 per charger, excellent customer service and reviews, and a guaranteed seven-day turnaround time.
Tim brings a diverse background to his new position. A former IT technician who retrained as an electrician, he has also worked as a business analyst. Patrick said this was perfect experience to equip Tim to manage operations in a company scaling at speed.
“Tim is a great fit with our team. We all have a passion for clean energy and a commitment to helping our clients switch to electric vehicles. We take pride in the quality of our work and strive to provide the best possible service to our customers,” said Pat.
“We’re delighted to have Tim back with us. His technical expertise, business insight, and understanding of Brum-E’s values make him the ideal person to help us meet the growing demand for EV chargers.”
Tim added: “It’s brilliant to be back. My goal now is to ensure Brum-E’s adventure and reputation for excellence continues in the best way. I’m looking forward to ensuring a smooth journey through problem solving and working closely with Pat in these exciting times.”
