Local projects in Kennoway are set to benefit following a fundraising initiative launched by Briar Homes at this year’s Kennoway Carnival.

As part of its involvement in the annual event, the housebuilder pledged to donate £1 worth of materials for every entry received into a prize draw hosted at its “Helping the Community Grow” themed stand. Briar Homes has since confirmed it will donate £200 worth of materials to support local projects within the village.

Briar Homes also welcomed residents to its Kennoway Carnival stand throughout the day with family activities, competitions and giveaways.

Visitors had the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a £200 Amazon gift voucher, take part in a “Guess the Number of Bricks” competition and collect complimentary vegetable growing kits designed to encourage families to grow their own produce at home.

The event also provided an opportunity for the Briar Homes team to meet local residents and speak with visitors about Weavers View, the company’s current development in Kennoway.

Ainslie McCrone, Sales & Marketing Manager at Briar Homes, said:

“The carnival was a fantastic day and it was great to see people stopping by the stand and taking part in the activities.

” We wanted our involvement to create a lasting benefit beyond the event itself and we’re pleased that the support shown by carnival visitors will now help contribute towards local projects in Kennoway.

“Thank you to everyone who visited us during the day and helped make the initiative such a success.”

Construction is currently underway at Weavers View in Kennoway, a Briar Homes development of energy-efficient homes designed for modern family living.
