Briar Homes unveils first showhome at Weavers View
Prospective buyers will soon be able to picture life at Briar Homes’ Weavers View development as the housebuilder unveils its first showhome on Friday 24th July.
The launch marks another milestone for Briar Homes’ first development in Fife, giving future homeowners the opportunity to experience the quality, design and specification of the homes in person for the first time.
The first showhome will showcase the four-bedroom Alder Plus, one of the signature homes at Weavers View, an exclusive development of 123 three and four-bedroom homes in Kennoway, Fife where prices start from £232,000. For the four-bedroom Alder Plus style home, prices start from £315,000.
Designed with modern family living in mind, the Alder Plus features a spacious lounge alongside an open-plan kitchen and dining area, creating flexible living spaces for everyday life and entertaining. A separate utility room, downstairs WC and built-in storage add practicality, while upstairs the home offers four well-proportioned bedrooms, including a principal bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite, as well as a contemporary family bathroom.
The interior designer for the new Briar Homes showhome is Alison Harding of AMW Designs. To evoke a sense of effortless comfort and a warm, inviting interior, the home is dressed in a soothing palette of neutral tones, textured timber finishes and accents of burnt umber. Statement pieces of furniture further enhance the interior and natural materials with tactile textures create a layered, organic aesthetic. The overall design is one of understated luxury to complement the generous space and inspire prospective homeowners.
A second showhome, the three-bedroom semi-detached Ash, is due to open in September, giving visitors the opportunity to explore another of the development’s most popular house styles.
Also designed by AMW Designs, the concept for this showhome draws inspiration from the timeless beauty of modern coastal living. A nature inspired palette of warm natural colours, soft greys and accents of muted blues have been used throughout. Oak styled wood finishes featuring in furniture selections and accessories throughout, provide rich texture and natural character to ground the design. This balance of textures and finishes collectively creates a harmonious connection to nature.
Ainslie McCrone, Sales & Marketing Manager at Briar Homes, said: “Opening our first showhome is an exciting step for Weavers View and gives buyers the opportunity to experience the development in a completely different way. While plans and brochures are an important part of the buying journey, nothing compares to walking through a home and getting a real feel for the space, layout and quality.
“Buying a new home is a significant decision, and being able to walk through a fully-furnished house gives people confidence in what they’re choosing. We also welcome the recent First Home Fund announcement from the Scottish Government which supports first-time buyers and unlocks opportunities for the next generation of home owners.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to our new showhome and helping them picture what life at Weavers View could look like.”
Located off Leven Road, Weavers View when complete will consist of 123 energy-efficient homes within the historic village of Kennoway. The development offers a range of three-bedroom semi-detached and three and four-bedroom detached homes, designed to appeal to first-time buyers, growing families, downsizers and commuters travelling across Fife.
Earlier this year, the Scottish Government announced the First Home Fund, supporting first-time buyers with deposit assistance on properties up to £300,000.
