Now in its sixth year, the Midlands Food, Drink & Hospitality Awards is hosted by event organisers BEvents, which delivers some of the region’s most respected awards ceremonies: Birmingham Awards; The Inspirational Youth Awards; Midlands Property & Investment Awards; and the Women in Tech Awards.

BEvents’, co-founder, Anita Chumber, celebrates the return of the Midlands Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards by saying:

“We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Midlands Food, Drink & Hospitality Awards, where we’ll be rolling out the red carpet to honour the very best in the industry. The Midlands has a rich and cultured history, no less with regards to food, and after a couple of turbulent years for the sector, it’s time to raise a glass and toast the heroes of hospitality who have kept the spirit of the industry alive, providing exceptional experiences for their communities, and setting the standard for excellence.

“From the creative chefs to the most welcoming hosts, these heroes of hospitality have gone above and beyond, making our dining and drinking experiences truly unforgettable. It’s time to celebrate their unwavering commitment and raise a glass for a night to remember.”

Chairing the awards is Tony Elvin, General Manager at Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull, who boasts a rich and varied hospitality and leisure background, working in and operating health clubs, bars, restaurants, family entertainment centres and hotels. Tony added:

“I am delighted to return as Head Judge for what will be the sixth Midlands Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards. Since the awards inception in 2016 I have had the opportunity to be nominated, to win, to lose and latterly, to judge. As such, I understand the commitment made by our entrants in putting themselves forward for consideration and the impact it can have for your team.

The midlands is at the heart of the UK hospitality scene, so it is a great honour to be asked to judge again and I am excited to get stuck in and support these fantastic businesses in helping them receive the recognition they deserve.”

Nominations are now open for the Midlands Food Drink and Hospitality Awards 2023 and close on 21st May.
